We are so close to the weekend I can taste it…what is it that I taste? The sweet victory of tacos, of course…
I am running my VERY FIRST 10 mile race this weekend! So very excited for it. The race will be Sunday and it looks like it will be a flat and fast one, galavanting through the streets of downtown Dallas! Love it.
Last night the boyfriend and I went to a new to us place called Urban Taco in Uptown. It was a fun little date night on the patio! I tried the ahi tuna tacos and shrimp tacos, both were delish!
Date nites also call for date night shoes so you know I had to bust those out.
It was fun catching up with the boo. Did I tell you he was moving to Houston for work? Yep, he will be 4 hours away from me now. I will miss him like crazy but at least it’s not too far, and since my dad also lives in H.town I foresee lots of weekend getaways in my future.
Soo let’s get down to the nitty gritty of my faves, shall we?
Crazy fun nails – So lately I have been experimenting with my nails and trying out fun pinterest-y things with them. I love this turquoise color with one blinged out nail on each hand! Bye bye french mani, just crazy nails for me from now on.
Loved reading about the benefits of spinning – I have always been a big believer of cycling and spinning being great cross training for runners, plus it’s just an awesome calorie burn!
Pumpkin madness…love all of these pumpkin recipes on SkinnyTaste…I plan on trying every one of them.
This new J.Lo song…makes me want to immediately get up and shake my money maker!

Good luck on your 10-miler! That’s my favorite distance to race! We have a great 10-miler in Chapel Hill that I run every spring… but it’s super-hilly. I think the flat and fast will be super-fun. Have a great time!
