The happiest of Fridays to you! I am excited…oh why am I so excited?! Well for one it is Friday and that is enough to be excited about.
Another reason is because I just found a new chiropractor…in my office! That’s right, one that comes to my OFFICE every Friday. And he runs marathons, ya’ll! I think I found my new best friend. He popped me back into alignment, used this massage thingy on my quads and put these muscle stimulators on my shoulders. Good Lord that felt good. Now I have a big goofy smile on my face (I didn’t take a pic but just take my word for it) because my body is so happy.
On to my favorites for the week…
My SPI belt – okay so not only is this thing perfect for those long runs because you can put your keys and fuel in there but I just found a new use for it. I brought it to the gym last night to teach just to see if the battery pack for the mic would fit in there…and guess what, it did! So I will be using this for dancing and running now. If you don’t have one, you are missing out. It’s the fanny pack of today’s generation. You can check ‘em out here.
Quinoa pasta shells – my new carb load meal. Pretty certain I’m going to bring these with me to DC when I go run the marathon. And I tried the shells this week and they are soo good. I have a recipe I will share with you in the near future.
Headsweats visors – I wore this one last week on my 14 mile run. Blocks out the sun and keeps the frizzy hair fly aways at bay.
Mimosas after a long run – Well, who doesn’t love that? Mimosas after a 20 mile run especially. I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Aviator sunglasses – Because they NEVER go out of style.
Gold solo cups – They are better than the red ones. Take my word for it.
