The happiest of Fridays to you! I am excited…oh why am I so excited?! Well for one it is Friday and that is enough to be excited about.
Another reason is because I just found a new chiropractor…in my office! That’s right, one that comes to my OFFICE every Friday. And he runs marathons, ya’ll! I think I found my new best friend. He popped me back into alignment, used this massage thingy on my quads and put these muscle stimulators on my shoulders. Good Lord that felt good. Now I have a big goofy smile on my face (I didn’t take a pic but just take my word for it) because my body is so happy.
On to my favorites for the week…
My SPI belt – okay so not only is this thing perfect for those long runs because you can put your keys and fuel in there but I just found a new use for it. I brought it to the gym last night to teach just to see if the battery pack for the mic would fit in there…and guess what, it did! So I will be using this for dancing and running now. If you don’t have one, you are missing out. It’s the fanny pack of today’s generation. You can check ‘em out here.
Quinoa pasta shells – my new carb load meal. Pretty certain I’m going to bring these with me to DC when I go run the marathon. And I tried the shells this week and they are soo good. I have a recipe I will share with you in the near future.
Headsweats visors – I wore this one last week on my 14 mile run. Blocks out the sun and keeps the frizzy hair fly aways at bay.
Mimosas after a long run – Well, who doesn’t love that? Mimosas after a 20 mile run especially. I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Aviator sunglasses – Because they NEVER go out of style.
Gold solo cups – They are better than the red ones. Take my word for it.

I love that Quinoa pasta! I am gluten sensitive and it is something that both my boyfriend and I can enjoy. This weekend will be a 7 mile run for me and LOTS of football.

I definitely need a SPI belt .. I’m constantly complaining about having to run with my iPhone in my hand. Last night I ran with it in my bra. LOL. And I love the quinoa pasta too! Quinoa is a superfood! Enjoy! Ohh.. and I am the biggest fan of chiropractic care. I’m glad you found a good one – one that will do the work right at the office?! Unheard of.
Yes absolutely get you a belt! You will be hooked. I used to be so scared of the cracking back chiro but I am now totally the biggest fan.

I have those shells at home. Had them for 3 months!!
They are great with laughing cow cheese, some garlic powder, light butter and basil! I like to put red pepper in there too for a kick! Try it and see what you think!
