Last night I went to my instructor friend Sharanda’s dance class and shook my booty like I love to do every Monday night. We did some hot hot songs including this Shakira song…I am working on my moves to get them to look just like hers. One day.
My morning started in grand fashion with a nice n easy breezy beautiful 4 mile shakeout run. I got ready to start up my RunKeeper and then something in my brain went…nope. Don’t do it. Just RUN. Just rock it out. So you know what I did? I ran, and I rocked it out.
No Garmin. Nothing clocking my pace. Just me, myself and nature. It felt soo good to not worry about my pace or look down every 50 seconds to see where I was at. Just run for the sheer pleasure of running. I said ‘Good Morning’ to my neighbors, and felt the wind on my face. The song in my footsteps. It felt good.
I turned on the David Guetta station on my Pandora to rock out a little bit. Here are some songs I’m loving lately, especially for running. Don’t they call this type of music ‘dubstep’ now? Whatever, I’m loving it whatever it’s called.
