I hope you guys had a fabulous weekend! Mine was very busy but fun and just a little bit productive 
Friday and Saturday were both fun and relaxing. I made a few trips to the gym for back to back Danceaton classes with Gaby and Sharanda, cleaned my apartment, and went grocery shopping. I am loving all of the fruits now in season! I bought fresh cantaloupe, watermelon and some grapes. I also re-stocked my Puffins cereal and almond milk, yummy!
Saturday I also met up with an old friend for brunch. We went to Sfuzzi’s in Las Colinas and shared some organic veggie pizza. So delicious.
That same evening the BF and I met up with some of our friends for a the Allen Wranglers indoor football game.
Former NFL player Terrell Owens is the co-owner and also plays for the team! It was a good time…the boys ended up catching the football during the game!

Sunday I went to a coaches meeting for my Luke’s Locker running group in Ft. Worth. We are gearing up for our marathon training season and I know it’s going to be a good one! If you live in the DFW area check us out.
I am looking forward to training for the Marine Corps Marathon (Marathon #5!) while coaching an awesome group of runners! I hope to see a bunch of new running faces this season.

I will always take running with friends over running solo…except when i’m running after work to de-stress (i just NEED to RUN and burn off steam then!)
I’m not following a training plan right now, just “training for life”…hehe, but I do have a half-mara in 3-weeks that I would like to run fast in.
WATERMELON is my fav! almost in season!!
